To Meeting Treasurers:
When you send a contribution to Intergroup, please include the day,
time and location of the meeting. Also, if you want the Intergroup
to send 30% of your contribution to OA World Service and 10% to OA
Region 2, please put 60/30/10 on the check in the memo section.
To Meeting Treasures or Literature Persons:
Since OA World Service does not charge California State sales tax on
literature purchases, we are responsible for paying that sales tax to
California ourselves. To make it easier, you can send an
additional check to the intergroup for 8.25% of the cost of whatever
literature you order from World Service. The Intergroup will then
collect the money and send the appropriate amount to the State of
California once a year. |
